Employment Litigation

Our attorneys at Varga Berger Ledsky Hayes & Casey have substantial experience in the area of employment litigation.  We prosecute and defend claims involving sexual harassment, age discrimination, racial discrimination, and wrongful discharge.  We counsel clients on employment decisions, and negotiate severance agreements to avoid costly litigation where warranted.  We also have experience with wage and hour related claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and equivalent state statutes, and have successfully defended various FLSA collective actions.  In addition, we have prosecuted and defended various ERISA claims concerning retirement, medical coverage, insurance, and other employment benefits.  In all employment matters we handle, we bring to bear our substantial commercial litigation experience, skills, and cost efficiencies.
